Well, wonders never cease it seems, I've actually had five minutes to update this page slightly! (Most recent update 15th April 2007)
I'd like to thank all my friends who voted for JETS (the fan fund to send a European fan to the Japanese Worldcon at the end of August 2007), particularly because I won! Full details here (including a link to the blog covering preparations, the trip, and the aftermath).
A few years back I was kept busy in the process of Moving House (I've been remiss in updating the status page with the latest information) but this has reached a state of equilibrium now so I'll have to concentrate more on running Science Fiction Conventions, Playing Music and my many other hobbies.
Eventually I'll be adding information on Conjuring and Folk Music, and I'm collecting appropriate links etc. to be added to these pages. I've bought a number of domain names for my various hobbies/activities and you can see the list here. I'll also be adding in the usual list of links to stuff I've found on the web over the years, and like most such lists it will include a number of sites that have vanished.
This page will also contain stuff about me, my interests and files that I want to be able to grab when I'm somewhere else, and so may be of little interest to others (e.g. my list of conjuring books and science fiction books very incomplete!) You can also see if you have any junk sitting around cluttering your house that would help me to set up my place by checking out the House Warming Presents List (hey, if you don't ask, you don't get! This list updated 22nd March 2001 so vastly out of date, and I may have more to give away now than I actually need, so just ask!) I will also start building up a list of stuff I want to get rid of (for money, favours, swops or in some cases just giving them away to good causes).
As I said, there's not a lot here yet, so mind the dust sheets and I'll have this place fixed up one day!
